In 41 days, a race with huge statewide implications will be decided.
It will tell incumbents everywhere one of two things:

1. Voters have had it, so change your ways now; or
2. Keep doing the same things; what you're hearing is all bark and no
bite.

The bellwether is in Westchester, the most taxed county in America.

New Yorkers for Growth is supporting county executive candidate Rob Astorino. He's a committed fiscal conservative, and we need him elected. He is the type of fiscal reformer we want elected in both parties throughout New York State.

Rob has a new television ad on the air that he needs help funding. It can be seen by clicking here.

For about $250, you can air this ad an extra time. For $2,500, it will be aired ten extra times, reaching thousands more people who need to hear Rob's fiscally responsible message.

The incumbent Westchester county executive, Andy Spano, has been in office for 12 years (he wants 16). He has more than doubled county spending-Westchester now spends more each year than 87 nations do!-and he has raised county property taxes by about 60% in the last seven years alone. His free-spending ways have put Westchester families in an untenable position. The Spano taxes have become unsustainable to middle class families.

Rob Astorino understands that punitive taxation has very real consequences to families struggling to get by. Those taxes materially affect the quality of life of families and businesses everywhere in New York.

If New York State is going to change its ways, it must begin in Westchester where taxes are highest. The symbolism of this race is enormous.
